La pena de sujeción a la vigilancia de las autoridades consiste en la obligación que se impone a un individuo de declarar ante el Jefe de la Policía de lugar que establezca su domicilio, que residirá allí y cumplirá las obligaciones que le imponga la misma autoridad conforme a la ley y a los reglamentos, para que se le pueda vigilar debidamente.
