Régimen de Transición. A partir de la entrada en vigencia del presente decreto las instituciones que integran el Sistema de Información de Huella Balística Civil (SIHBC) contarán con un término de dos meses, para cumplir con las condiciones técnicas y tecnológicas del funcionamiento del Registro Nacional de Identificación Balística, y doce (12) meses adicionales para implementar el citado registro, las cuales serán establecidas por el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional a través de la Policía Nacional - Dirección de Investigación Criminal e Interpol, contados a partir de la expedición del presente decreto.
