La transmisión de programas informativos y periodísticos a través del servicio de radiodifusión sonora, requiere de licencia otorgada por la Dirección General de Comunicación Social del Ministerio de Comunicaciones, la cual será conferida conjuntamente al director del programa y al concesionario del servicio. La licencia de que trata el inciso anterior, podrá ser otorgada para un tipo de programa especifico o para todos aquellos que eventualmente pretenda transmitir una estación de radiodifusión sonora, siempre que se cumplan los requisitos y condiciones previstos en el artículo siguiente.
