Venta de servicios. Los laboratorios de salud pública departamentales y del distrito capital, de conformidad con características especiales de ubicación, acceso, capacidad de respuesta, desarrollo tecnológico y capacidad de gestión, podrán ofrecer servicios a otras entidades territoriales, siempre y cuando esté garantizada la satisfacción de la demanda de su propio territorio y no existan incompatibilidades con sus funciones, o cuando se requiera atender prioridades nacionales de vigilancia en salud pública, vigilancia y control sanitario en zonas especiales.
