El Consejo Departamental se reunirá ordinariamente por el término de cuarenta días hábiles a partir del 1º de noviembre de cada año, pudiendo el Gobernador prorrogar sus sesiones por el término que estime conveniente.

Los Consejeros Departamentales devengarán las asignaciones señaladas actualmente a los Diputados a las Asambleas Departamentales.
