Para poder percibir el auxilio a que se refiere el artículo anterior, la institución beneficiada deberá acreditar ante el Ministerio de Salud Pública, no solamente su existencia legal y personería jurídica, sino que su funcionamiento se ajusta a los requisitos del Plan Nacional Hospitalario establecido por la Ley 12 de 1963 , y comprobar los servicios asistenciales o de caridad que está prestando.
