Requerimientos. Las instituciones de educación superior deben garantizar la disponibilidad de información para su procesamiento bajo estándares definidos por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional, de manera que se realice un reporte utilizando procesos automatizados.

A partir del 1° de enero del 2007, las instituciones de educación superior deberán garantizar la disponibilidad de la información a través del nuevo desarrollo del Sistema Nacional de Información de la Educación Superior - SNIES.
