Ley 26 de 1905 · por el cual se reforman algunas disposiciones del Código Militar

Art. 4º. La sentencia de un Consejo de Guerra será consultada con el general ó comandante en Jefe respectivo, y confirmada, reformada ó revocada por el Presidente de la Republica, el cual únicamente puede mandarla ejecutar bajo su responsabilidad.

Parágrafo

El Presidente de la Republica puede delegar la facultad que le confiere el articulo anterior á los Jefes de Ejército respectivo, salvo el caso de pena de muerte, del cual solo conocerá el Presidente de la Republica.
