Duración de la investigación preliminar. La averiguación preliminar se realizará en el término máximo de dos (2) meses, vencidos los cuales se dictará resolución de apertura de investigación formal o resolución inhibitoria.
Cuando no haya sido posible identificar al profesional autor de la presunta falta, la averiguación preliminar continuará hasta que se obtenga dicha identidad, hasta que opere el término de prescripción.
