Decreto 1171 de 1997 · por el cual se reglamentan los artículos 50, 51 de la Ley 23 de 1981.

º. El Certificado Médico será expedido por un Profesional de la Medicina, con tarjeta profesional o registro del Ministerio de Salud, o por un médico que se encuentre prestando el Servicio Social Obligatorio, de conformidad con lo previsto por el artículo 50 de la Ley 23 de 1981.

Parágrafo

El texto del Certificado Médico será claro, preciso y deberá ceñirse estrictamente a la verdad. Su expedición irregular conllevará responsabilidad civil, penal y ética para el médico que lo expida, de conformidad con las normas vigentes sobre la materia.
