Todo laboratorio en donde se preparen productos biológicos deberá conservar un archivo en el cual se especifique, para cada lote, la potencia del producto cuando esta sea posible, así como las pruebas de inocuidad y pureza, indicando en estos casos el número de animales y los medios de cultivos empleados, así como los resultados obtenidos en dichas pruebas.
