Los funcionarios de correos que omitieren cualquiera de las formalidades prescritas en este Decreto, serán responsables de los perjuicios causados por la omisión hasta el monto total del valor que se haya declarado, fuera de las sanciones administrativas que determine el Ministerio del ramo y de las demás a que haya lugar conforme a las leyes.
