Art 2.° El Estado Mayor de cada Columna o Brigada, se compondrá de un General de Brigada ó Coronel, Jefe de ella; de un primer Ayudante general, de empleo inferior el del Jefe y que será por orden gerárquico el 2.° Jefe de ella y encargado del detalle; de un Sargento Mayor 2.° Ayudante general, y de uno á cuatro Ayudantes de campo subalternos. Estos pueden ser nombrados entre los mismos Oficiales de los cuerpos, cuando de ello no resulte perjuicio grave al servicio público.
