El DANE, con el propósito de agilizar la evaluación de los planes y proyectos de informatización, podrá delegar en sus Direcciones Regionales la función de conceptuar sobre los planes de sistemas de información y de autorizar la ejecución de proyectos informáticos.

Parágrafo

Para el incumplimiento de la delegación de que trata el presente artículo, las Direcciones Regionales podrán asesorarse de otras entidades publicas que cuenten con un grado de informatización avanzado y dispongan de recursos humanos suficientes para esta tarea.
