Si se trata de un matrimonio civil contraído en el Extranjero, aunque la ley bajo cuyo imperio se celebró autorice el divorcio por la causa indicada en el artículo 155 del Código Civil, no puede demandarse con su apoyo sino la adopción de las medidas que en ese texto se autorizan.
