En caso de traslado de un funcionario diplomático o consular, su respectivo pasaporte será revalidado para el nuevo cargo por el Jefe de la Nación Diplomática respectiva. En caso de ascenso se expedirá al funcionario diplomático o consular un nuevo pasaporte.
