Cuando en la República se expida patente de invención a favor de inventos o perfeccionamiento que ya hayan obtenido en otros países, la patente colombiana quedara cancelada tan luego como termine el periodo privilegiado concedido en la respectiva patente extranjera, o cuando se hubiere cumplido el tiempo máximo de que habla el Artículo siguiente.
