Los Suboficiales en servicio activo que hayan adelantado estudios universitarios al término y aprobación de estos, previa solicitud y concepto favorable de la Junta Asesora, podrán pasar al Escalafón de Oficiales del respectivo Servicio, en el grado de Subteniente o Teniente de Corbeta). Si hubieren optado su título profesional podrán hacerlo en el grado de teniente o Teniente de Fragata).
