En los Municipios que tengan más de diez mil habitantes, de acuerdo con el censo vigente, según la ley el Jurado Electoral tendrá, además, un Oficial Escribiente, dos en los que tuvieren más de veinticinco mil habitantes, tres en los que pasaren de cincuenta mil, y en Bogotá los que juzgue necesarios el gobernador del Departamento. Dichos Oficiales serán nombrados por el Jurado y trabajarán bajo las órdenes inmediatas del secretario. Su sueldo durante el tiempo de que trata el artículo anterior, será de veinte a cuarenta pesos mensuales, según la importancia del Municipio.
