CREACION DE MUNICIPIOS Y CORREGIMIENTOS. Los Consejos Intendenciales y Comisariales podrán solicitar al Gobierno Nacional la creación, supresión o fusión de municipios o de corregimientos, la agregación o segregación de territorios a los mismos y la fijación de límites entre los diferentes distritos municipales o corregimientos, por medio de proposición aprobada por la mitad más uno de los miembros de la Corporación, acompañando los documentos en que se apoye la petición.
