La policía de vigilancia podrá verificar en cualquier momento la exactitud de las pesas y medidas que se hallen en los establecimientos comerciales. Igualmente, la policía de vigilancia podrá hacer indagaciones para verificar el cumplimiento de los precios, tarifas y tasas asignadas a la prestación de los distintos servicios públicos y de los precios autorizados para la venta de alimentos y otros artículos señalados por la ley como de primera necesidad.
