El Ministerio de Educación Nacional, en acuerdo con el Excelentísimo señor Arzobispo de Medellín, buscará la forma de dar vigencia a la anterior disposición y, previo su consentimiento, procederá a hacer los arreglos que requiera la mencionada capilla y a levantar en su interior un monumento en donde se guarden los restos del ex Presidente, y en el que se colocará esta leyenda: "A Marco Fidel Suárez, Prócer de la Democracia. El Congreso de Colombia".
