Se entiende por Producto Biológico el obtenido a partir de un organismo vivo mediante extracción, síntesis o composición, que se utiliza con fines investigativos, diagnósticos, preventivos o terapéuticos, en el hombre o en los animales, tales como agentes microbianos, sustancias derivadas del cultivo de los mismos o derivados de la sangre humana o animal.
