Los Magistrados de la Corte de Cuentas que hayan cumplido sesenta y tres ó más años de edad y tengan veinticinco años de servicio al Gobierno dentro y fuera de la Corte, serán retirados honrosamente de ella con una pensión mensual vitalicia que no será menor de la mitad del último sueldo también mensual de que haya disfrutado, ni mayor que el sueldo entero, esto á juicio del Gobierno, según los medios de subsistencia con que cuente el Magistrado al quedar retirado.
