Objetivo. El Fondo Nacional de Vivienda (Fonvivienda) tendrá como objetivos consolidar el Sistema Nacional de Información de Vivienda y ejecutar las políticas del Gobierno nacional en materia de vivienda de interés social urbana y rural y, agua y saneamiento básico, en particular aquellas orientadas a la descentralización territorial de la inversión de los recursos destinados a estas actividades, a la convergencia regional y a la reducción de brechas.
