Los árbitros tendrán los deberes, poderes, facultades y responsabilidades que para los jueces se consagran en los artículos 37 a 40 del Código de Procedimiento Civil y responderá de los perjuicios que causen a las partes por el incumplimiento de sus funciones. También estarán sujetos a las sanciones penales establecidas para los jueces.
