Son atribuciones de la Comisión Instructora del Senado:

Presentar un informe motivado con el proyecto de resolución que deba adoptarse, en el caso de que la Cámara de Representantes haga uso de la función señalada en el ordinal 4o. del artículo 102 de la Constitución.

Instruir el proceso correspondiente, si es del caso.

Presentar el proyecto de resolución que deba pronunciarse.

Rendir informe motivado a la corporación sobre si debe procederse o no al levantamiento de la inmunidad parlamentaria, en el caso del artículo 107 de la Constitución.
