Los herederos que al otorgar inventario solemne, o al denunciar los bienes para inventario judicial, oculten bienes para inventario judicial, oculten bienes maliciosamente, pagarán como multa a favor del Lazareto un valor igual al de la cuota que tengan en los bienes ocultados.

Si la ocultación maliciosa se hiciere por el curador de la herencia o por el albacea al otorgar el correspondiente inventario, pagarán una multa igual al valor de los bienes ocultados.

Las penas de que trata este artículo se impondrán previo el correspondiente juicio contradictorio.
