Los operadores radioaficionados, nacionales o extranjeros, no residentes en Colombia, que tuvieren licencia de radioaficionado otorgada por otro Estado, podrán operar en Colombia siempre y cuando lo informen previamente ante la Dirección General de Comunicación Social del Ministerio de Comunicaciones y exista convenio de reciprocidad con el Estado otorgante de la licencia. Esta facultad sólo podrá ser ejercida por un término máximo de dos (2) meses y los operadores radioaficionados deberán identificarse con el mismo distintivo de llamada del país donde le fue otorgada la licencia, seguido de las letras HK y el número de zona correspondiente.
