El monto del subsidio que otorga Colombia Mayor deberá incrementarse gradualmente hasta alcanzar un monto equivalente a la línea de pobreza extrema nacional calculada por el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística DANE, o el instrumento de medición que haga sus veces. Este aumento estará sujeto a la disponibilidad presupuestal.
