El artículo 179 del Código Civil quedará así: El marido y la mujer fijarán la residencia del hogar. En caso de ausencia, incapacidad, o privación de la libertad de uno de ellos, la fijará el otro. Si hubiere desacuerdo corresponderá al juez fijar la residencia teniendo en cuenta el interés de la familia. Los cónyuges deberán subvenir a las ordinarias necesidades domesticas en proporción a sus facultades.
