Los Concejos Municipales se compondrán de los siguientes Concejales:

Los Municipios cuya población actual no exceda de cinco mil habitantes, elegirán seis (6); los que tengan de cinco mil uno a diez mil, elegirán ocho (8); los que tengan de diez mil uno hasta veinte mil, elegirán (10); los de veinte mil uno hasta cincuenta mil (50.000) elegirán doce (12); los de cincuenta mil uno hasta cien mil, elegirán quince (15); y los de cien mil uno en adelante, elegirán quince (15) y uno más por cada cien mil habitantes, hasta completar el máximo de veinte (20).
