Decreto 821 de 1969 · por el cual se aprueban los Estatutos del Fondo de Promoción de Exportaciones.

º. Igualmente desarrollará el Fondo las siguientes actividades

Comprar y exportar directamente artículos de producción nacional, cuando ello fuere necesario para fomentar el comercio exterior;

Comprar artículos o servicios extranjeros para facilitar la colocación de productos colombianos, y

Celebrar acuerdos sobre intercambio comercial, y abrir créditos que faciliten la ejecución de los mismos, así como realizar todas las operaciones necesarias para la oportuna y más provechosa utilización de los saldos que a favor de Colombia resulten de dichos acuerdos.
