Como homenaje perenne a su memoria, la Nación construirá en la ciudad de Santafé de Bogotá, D.C., una estatua de Alberto Lleras Camargo, un monumento a su memoria, el cual será encargado a un escultor colombiano con base en concurso de méritos que abrirá el Instituto Colombiano de Cultura, para tal efecto.
