Art. 1.° En ejecución del artículo 2.° de la Ley 34 de 1881 (20 de Mayo), el Poder Ejecutivo procederá a proveer al Museo, de local de propiedad nacional, capaz y adecuado para su acomodo actual y su creciente ensanche, y del mobiliario necesario para el arreglo apropiado y eficaz conservación de las colecciones y demás objetivos del Establecimiento.
