Art. 3.° Los Consejos de las escuelas tienen las siguientes atribuciones: i 1ª. Hacer todos los exámenes que deban sufrir los alumnos; 2ª. Examinar los programas que deben formar los Catedráticos de la Escuela, i dar el informe respectivo para que sean aprobados o reformados por la Direccion jeneral de Instruccion Universitaria; 3ª. Informar a la Direccion jeneral sobre los textos que sea conveniente adoptar en la Universidad; 4ª. Dar los informes que el Poder Ejecutivo, la Direccion jeneral, el Rector de la Universidad, o el de la Escuela, les pidan sobre objetos relacionados con las ciencias que se enseñan en la misma Escuela; i 5ª. Designar los alumnos que sean acreedores a premios universitarios.
