ARTICULO 31 . Los Capitanes y Maquinistas Jefes deberán efectuar, dentro de cada período de cinco (5) años de validez de su licencia de navegación, un curso de actualización en una Escuela Náutica autorizada por la autoridad marítima para ello, o en su defecto presentar un examen que acredite dichos conocimientos. Sin el cumplimiento de este requisito, no se revalidarán dichas licencias.
