Las visas que expida el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores o el jefe de una misión diplomática consular autorizado para ello por la Cancillería serán: Diplomática, Oficial, de Servicio, de Cortesía, de Negocios, de Residente, Temporal, de Inmigrante y de Visitante. Al otorgarse la visa, se dejará constancia en el pasaporte de la categoría en la cual fue admitido el solicitante.
