Lo dispuesto en la presente ley y sus normas reglamentarias se aplicará en todo el territorio nacional a las solicitudes que se tramiten en el marco de las leyes aprobatorias de los Convenios en mención y que tienen como fin garantizar el retorno del niño, niña o adolescente menor de dieciséis (16) años a su residencia habitual y/o la regulación internacional de visitas.
