Del cuidado del terapeuta respiratorio. El acto del cuidado del terapeuta respiratorio se fundamenta en sus principios científicos, investigativos, tecnológicos y de conocimientos actualizados en las ciencias biológicas y humanísticas.

En las consideraciones y juicio de valor que se tomen para el plan de cuidado de Terapia Respiratoria se tendrán en cuenta el estado de salud, el entorno del paciente y las consideraciones de los demás profesionales de la salud que sobre su tratamiento y cuidados intervengan. Se tendrá como objetivo, el desarrollar las potencialidades individuales y colectivas, a la vez que se promueve la vida y se previene la enfermedad.
