Obligación de emitir certificaciones de pólizas no expedidas. Las aseguradoras autorizadas para operar el SOAT, cuando identifiquen que la póliza con cargo a la cual una persona natural o jurídica reclama el reconocimiento de las indemnizaciones y gastos de que trata el presente Capítulo, no fue expedida por la aseguradora, esta deberá emitir una certificación en tal sentido.
