Las disminuciones de la prima alojamiento, regirán a partir de la fecha en que se haya producido el hecho que las determina. Los interesados están en la obligación de dar aviso correspondiente dentro de los treinta (3) días siguientes. Si no lo hiciere, el pago total de la referida prima se suspenderá por un tiempo igual al de la demora en el aviso y cuando esta demora excediere de seis (6) meses se lo privará definitivamente del expresado beneficio.
