Art. 168. El empleado u oficina que reciba tabaco tomará las medidas i precauciones necesarias para cerciorarse de la exactitud de los cargamentos i de su conformidad con las guías, i podrá exijir del jefe político o alcalde del lugar en que esté la oficina, que presencie i autorice el reconocimiento cuando sospeche fraude o note alguna novedad en los cargamentos recibidos.
