La Caja de Previsión Social de la Superintendencia Bancaria es una Corporación sin ánimo de lucro, creada conforme a las disposiciones del Titulo XXXVI del Código Civil y que tiene a su cargo, delegación del Estado, el reconocimiento y pago de las prestaciones sociales legales de los empleados y pensionados de la Superintendencia Bancaria. La Caja de Previsión Social de la Superintendencia Bancaria reconocerá igualmente las prestaciones extralegales que su órgano competente de Dirección estime convenientes.
