La liquidación de la pensión de jubilación o de invalidez de los funcionarios de la Carrera Diplomática y Consular, se hará sobre la base del cargo de mayor categoría que haya desempeñado el funcionario durante su carrera, por un año al menos, conforme a las categorías y equivalencias establecidas en este Estatuto y aplicando, cuando fuere el caso el artículo anterior.
