Ley 131 de 1985 · Por la cual se dictan normas sobre servicio militar voluntario

Podrán prestar el servicio militar voluntario quienes, habiendo prestado el servicio militar obligatorio, manifiesten ese deseo al respectivo Comandante de Fuerza y sean aceptados por él. Las autoridades militares podrán organizar otras modalidades de servicio militar voluntario, cuando las circunstancias lo permitan.

Parágrafo 1

El servicio militar voluntario, se prestará por un lapso no menor de doce (12) meses.

Parágrafo 2

La Planta de Personal de soldados que preste el servicio militar voluntario será establecida por el Gobierno.
