Todo leproso calificado como tál por los médicos nombrados al efecto, tiene derecho á una ración diaria que se le suministrará de los fondos públicos destinados á tal fin; pero para recibirla es menester que se halle sujeto al aislamiento prefijado y á los reglamentos de la colonia ó lazareto.
