El extranjero titular de visa temporal, excepto visitante, que desee permanecer en el territorio nacional deberá iniciar el trámite de solicitud de la nueva visa, por lo menos dentro de los treinta (30) días anteriores a la fecha de vencimiento de la visa vigente de la cual sea titular. No podrá solicitar visa alguna en el territorio nacional el extranjero que haya ingresado ilegalmente.
