En relación con el artículo 15 de la Ley 34 de 1973, la Biblioteca Nacional organizará una Sección de Bibliografía, la cual realizará sus funciones en coordinación con los programas del Servicio Nacional de Información sobre los recursos bibliográficos y de documentación disponible en el país, con el fin de mejorar la docencia y la investigación en las ciencias, las artes, la tecnología y las humanidades.
