Si por cualquier circunstancia el empleado no hubiere hecho la manifestación de que trata el artículo 12 del Decreto 1988 de 1927 tantas veces citado, es indispensable que la viuda compruebe, para hacerse acreedora al auxilio, que observó buena conducta durante el matrimonio y que vivió en armonía con su cónyuge. Lo mismo se observará en cuanto a los demás auxilios cuando éstos no los hubiere alcanzado a cobrar el empleado interesado.
